I mostly disagree with David Grossman, because some of his ideas are just insane. Like that media violence and cigarette smoking have anything in common, or that watching T.V. desensitizes children. The only idea that i do agree with Grossman is that most games simulate military warfare. In conclusion i mostly disagree with David Grossman except the part where he says most games simulate military warfare.
I am concerning about your disagrees otherwise I agree with what you said Andy. Most games DO contains simulate military warfare.
ReplyDeleteI agree with what you say, media violence have nothing to do with cigarette company, so it not really make sense. I do agree with the part that there are a lot of game that simulate warfare. So really good comment.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you on the insane part=]]
ReplyDeleteI agree with you all things that you have said.
ReplyDeleteYes, most games do simulate military warfare, but do they really contain much violence? No, in fact, some games contains so little violence that it's probably not even noticable by gamers. I agree with you on the most part, except where you said media violence and cigarette doesn't have much in common, they're both elements of "Rated R", and are for older audience and customers.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you about most video games are simulate military warfare. I also agree with you about cigarette and video games don't have anything in common. I can't understand why David Grossman compared those two. But I think David Grossman brought some very good opinion. For example, I do think that media companies have to be responsible for the messages that they are sending to the children. Anyway, nice work Andy.
ReplyDeletewhat!? why? why do u disagree? I mostly agree...
ReplyDeletebye
